Module 15 - Blog Post 10
If I could pick just one idea from this course and as a part of this module, which I would take forward with me, it would be that technology is where we, as librarians, must shine. I cannot reference only one source here, but most all that we have read and seen this semester. The second thing I would choose to take forward, which is just about as important as the first, is that we, again, as librarians, must get in there and advocate for ourselves. We must become technology whizzes and make ourselves indispensible. As I move through my new profession, I take with me all the new technologies that I have been exposed to this year. I have discovered so many new things to share with my administrators, teachers, parents, and students.
